Made to Measure Double Glazed Unit — High-Rise & Exposed
Glazing above four storeys or on exposed coastal and hilltop sites faces significantly higher wind loads than standard residential applications. Our made-to-measure units for high-rise and exposed positions use toughened glass on both panes to withstand the increased pressure differentials that cause standard glass to flex and fail.
Wind load calculations (BS EN 1991-1-4) determine the minimum glass thickness for your specific building height, location, and exposure category. We can advise on glass thickness selection and provide units manufactured to the exact specification required by your structural engineer.
