What warranty do you offer?

Every sealed unit carries a 10-year guarantee against seal failure (condensation between panes) and structural defects. Our fitting work and coatings (Low-E, self-cleaning, solar) are also guaranteed for 10 years. The guarantee covers the original buyer only and doesn't transfer to a new owner.

Are you FENSA registered?

Yes. Pane Relief is FENSA registered for installation work, installer number 43465. FENSA registration confirms our installations comply with Building Regulations Document L (energy efficiency).

What dimensions do I provide?

Measure the visible glass (not the frame), then add 25mm to the width and 25mm to the height, in millimetres.

Do you deliver UK-wide?

Yes, anywhere on mainland UK. Delivery is free to Bristol (BS) postcodes. Everywhere else on the UK mainland it costs £150 + VAT (£180), with no free-delivery threshold. The largest unit we deliver is 2900mm × 1500mm, with a £15 surcharge on any unit over 2000mm.

What postcodes do you cover for installation?

Bristol, Bath, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, plus Gloucester and towns in Wiltshire and Somerset. Elsewhere on the UK mainland we supply units for you or your installer to fit.

What payment terms do you offer?

We don't offer 30-day credit terms.

Can I return a sealed unit if I measured wrong?

Made-to-measure sealed units can't be returned unless faulty or damaged. If you measured wrongly, we remake the unit and you pay the same price again. You can change or cancel free of charge until production starts. Please report any damage within 24 hours of delivery.

What's the difference between a sealed unit and replacement glass?

A sealed unit is a complete double-glazed assembly: two panes of glass bonded around a spacer bar with desiccant, with air or (as an upgrade) argon gas between the panes. Replacement glass is a single pane. If your unit is misted, you need a new sealed unit, not just glass.

Are your units BS EN 1279 compliant?

Yes. Every Pane Relief sealed unit is made by our partner factory to BS EN 1279, the European durability standard for insulated glass units. This covers gas concentration retention, edge seal integrity, and moisture penetration.

Email sales@panerelief.co.uk with your company name, VAT number, FENSA/GGF registration (if applicable), and an indication of expected monthly volume. We process applications within 2 working days. Account approval routes you to the trade portal with live tier pricing and the configurator's trade quote tool.

What's the minimum order for trade pricing?

5 units per order unlocks a 5% discount, 20 units 10% and 50 units 15%. Below 5, the catalogue price applies — though you can still order at standard pricing without a trade account. The configurator surfaces both retail and trade prices automatically once you're logged in to an approved account.

Do you deliver across the UK?

What's the lead time on bespoke specifications?

Standard double-glazed units: 5–7 working days to make and dispatch. Triple-glazed, toughened and laminated units: 10–14 working days. We schedule production around your build programme — flag critical dates at order.

Can I source matching glass for an existing installation?

Yes. Send the spec (overall thickness, build-up, low-E type if known, gas fill, toughened/laminated classifications, dimensions) via the trade quote tool. For unknown specs on a like-for-like replacement, our team can spec-match from a frame photo, rebate measurement, and a fragment if available.

Are units CE/UKCA marked and DoP-certified?

Yes — every unit ships with a UKCA mark, BS EN 1279 compliance across parts 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6, and a Declaration of Performance available on request. Toughened units carry the BS EN 12150 kitemark; laminated units carry BS EN 14449. Documentation requested in advance ships with the order.

What if a unit fails on site?

10-year guarantee on sealed units and on coatings (original buyer only; not transferable). On-site failure: photograph the unit and edge-stamp, raise the ticket via your trade portal. Replacement units are priority-dispatched. We do not charge for replacements within the warranty window.
