How long it takes:
Your sealed units are made to order by our partner factory. Standard double-glazed units take 5–7 working days to make and dispatch. Triple-glazed, toughened and laminated units take 10–14 working days. We email you your delivery day the day before.
Who delivers and what it costs:
We deliver anywhere on the UK mainland. Locally, your units come on our own van as part of our weekly delivery run; further away, they travel by Palletline. Delivery is free to Bristol (BS) postcodes. Everywhere else on the UK mainland it costs £150 + VAT (£180), and there is no free-delivery threshold outside Bristol. The largest unit we deliver is 2900mm long × 1500mm high, and there is a £15 + VAT (£18) surcharge for any unit over 2000mm. You're also welcome to collect your order free of charge by arrangement.
What to expect on delivery day:
We deliver to the kerbside or your front door, or carry units inside by arrangement. Units are heavy (a typical 1m × 1m double glazed unit weighs approximately 20kg), so someone should be in to check the units and sign for them. If nobody will be in, we can leave your order somewhere safe — but only if you've agreed this with us beforehand.
Checking your delivery:
Please inspect all units carefully before signing for the delivery. Check for cracks, chips, scratches, and any damage to the sealed unit edges. If you find any damage, nicks or blemishes, take photos and report them to us within 24 hours of delivery. Made-to-measure units can't be returned unless they are faulty or damaged, so it's important to check them on arrival.
Storage before fitting:
Store sealed units upright (never flat), in a dry location, protected from direct sunlight. Glass units stored flat can develop stress fractures. Keep the packaging on until you're ready to install.
