How long until my sealed unit ships?

Standard sealed units dispatch within 7-14 working days from order confirmation. Custom shapes, oversize units, or specialty glass (acoustic, laminated, self-cleaning) can extend to 14-21 days.

What warranty do you offer?

Every sealed unit carries a 10-year warranty against seal failure (condensation between panes) and structural defects. The warranty is registered to the delivery address and transfers with the property.

Are you FENSA registered?

Yes. Pane Relief is FENSA registered for installation work, installer number 43465. FENSA registration confirms our installations comply with Building Regulations Document L (energy efficiency).

What dimensions do I provide?

Send the exact glass-only dimensions in millimetres - width by height, measured edge-to-edge. Don't include the frame. We provide a measuring guide on the configurator page. If you're unsure, we can attend site to measure (Bristol area only).

Do you deliver UK-wide?

Yes. We dispatch to mainland UK from our Bristol workshop. Delivery is included in the configurator price for standard sizes; oversize or palletised orders may incur a delivery surcharge.

What postcodes do you cover for installation?

Bristol, Bath, Weston-super-Mare, Gloucester, Clevedon, Portishead, Keynsham, Nailsea, Thornbury, Yate, Chippenham, Trowbridge, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Chepstow. Installation outside this area requires a quote.

What payment terms do you offer?

Card, bank transfer, or trade NET 30 (after first 3 invoices clear). All orders are paid in full before dispatch unless on a trade account.

Can I return a sealed unit if I measured wrong?

Made-to-measure sealed units are bespoke and non-returnable. Always double-check dimensions before ordering. If we made a manufacturing error (wrong size against your order), we remake free.

What's the difference between a sealed unit and replacement glass?

A sealed unit is a complete double-glazed assembly: two panes of glass bonded around a spacer bar with desiccant and gas fill. Replacement glass is a single pane. If your unit is misted, you need a new sealed unit, not just glass.

Are your units BS EN 1279 compliant?

Yes. Every Pane Relief sealed unit is manufactured to BS EN 1279, the European durability standard for insulated glass units. This covers gas concentration retention, edge seal integrity, and moisture penetration.

How do I measure a sealed unit?
